Oh if I could possess people I’d do really fucked up shit like … I’d possess a chef and over-salt a dish before it was sent out. Or I’d possess a rich guy, take out almost all his fortune in cash, and then rain it down over a city from a blimp. Or I’d possess a Wall Street exec and make them post brony shit to their Facebook feed.
so a few days ago i sat down for dinner and my mom handed me the camera with a strange look on her face. all she said was “you need to see this” and i was like ?? okay
but then
that is my dad with a pigeon on his head.
SO OF COURSE MY REACTION WAS JUST “WHAT?! HOW??? HOW” and APPARENTLY when my dad was outside gardening, he saw it land on the roof of our house. and then it just. flew down. and landed on his head
BUT NOW IT WON’T LEAVE
like the other morning i stepped outside to call my dad in for lunch and the pigeon was just sitting on the front porch watching him work
the princess diaries was anne hathaway’s first movie and like can you imagine being in her place and just casually being told oh btw julie andrews is your co-star no pressure welcome to hollywood
Fyi the DVD special features has a motherfucking TEA TIME WITH JULIE ANDREWS AND ANNE HATHAWAY AUDIO COMMENTARY
Yes. They just sit there drinking English tea and talking about their favorite stories and memories of making the film.
Like Hathaway and her mom crying during the opening credits because it was her first major film.
Or Julie Andrews being legit scared for her life with Anne Hathaway behind the wheel because Hathaway only had her permit IRL and let me tell you - I learned how to drive on San Francisco hills. THAT SHIT IS TERRIFYING.
And Julie Andrews is just sitting there during the audio commentary teaching Hathaway how to properly drink English tea.
But the fact that had the largest impact on me was their commentary that the male director had Hathaway put on weight so she could actually ****portray a healthy body image to young girls****. Turns out that his sister directed League of Their Own so he comes from a family that really supports and empowers women. Oh and he’s directed films like Pretty Women. NBD.
